QSS Noritsu-2901 minilab

One error message is enough to stop your production. Sometimes it happens that production starts and soon stops again, disrupting your production and may damage the device. So my suggestion is let's find out how to get rid of a specific error message. The error message we will talk about today is "Error-6909CPU was reset, Abot the process" This is a common message for every QSS Noritsu-2901 machine.
This is an instant power failure. By CPU many people mean the computer CPU that comes with the machine but almost every PCB has an internal CPU that shows this error message when it stops working. The second line of the error message will contain the name of that particular PCB. After that, the problem is not so complicated. More than 90 percent of problems are caused by the image processing PCB. This happens because the image-processing PCB does not get enough voltage.
Error No./and PCB NameNow let's see where the voltage of the image processing pcb comes from.
That PCB is called "Multi Power Supply PCB. " This PCB provides three different voltages. One is +5 volts DC. Second = +15 volts DC. and third = -15 volt DC. Image processing PCB requires +5 volt DC. If this voltage is lower or higher than desired, this error message will be displayed.
Location of Multi Power Supply PCB:
Number 1: Replace the Multi Power Supply PCB attached with a new one.
Number 2: Adjust the variable resistor connected to the PCB.
There is nothing special to say for those who follow the first path. They can easily do it themselves.
Those who solve the second method read carefully.
Multi power supplyFirst, get a multi-meter. Set the meter to DC volts. Now go to the Image Processing PCB. Here on the top left you will find connector P-205 which is the power input. A 4-wire jack is connected. Name the 4 wires from the left as 1, 2, 3, and 4 respectively. 1 and 2 is positive voltage and 2 and 3 are negative. You can work with any pair of 1 and 3 or 2 and 4. You would insert the positive prod of the multimeter into ware no. 1 so that it gets connected. The negative prod will like wise be inserted into ware no. 3 points. Now come to Multi Power Supply PCB. Most of the time it gets low voltage. If it is low turn VR1 slowly clockwise until you get +5.15 volts. And if it's more volts, turn it counter-clockwise in the same way. Note that you need to keep 5.15 volts. This error message will go away and you will be able to run the machine smoothly.
I will be happy if anyone can benefit from this learning article of mine. Thanks, everyone.
N:B: If the voltage drops or rises too high while turning the variable too fast, the PCB's self-protection will turn on and protect the PCB from damage. At this time, the PCB will turn off and then turn on again.
